I’m Ali Ghaffarian, an enthusiast who is always wondering what is happening inside his Linux machine. I write about the experiences that excite me in that moment, and I also keep my CTF writeups here (they won’t show up in the home page feed and it’s intentional). I also have a history of TCP/IP traffic (very) deep dives and poke arounds, so making networking software inside Linux is a double satisfaction for me :).

My bachelor’s thesis was about making an ambiguous (couldn’t come up with a better way to describe it. It’s a weird project trust me) access control system using eBPF (it’s open source), but since eBPF’s job market isn’t very compatible with my situation, I changed my direction to embedded Linux.

I’m currently moving toward embedded Linux and C programming roles.
